For AirBnb Hosts, Instagram Tips

Marketing your AirBNB can feel complicated. How do you know what to share in your content? What posts will catch the eye of potential guests? The good news is, it’s not as difficult as it might feel – and in this post, I’m giving you 10 Instagram post ideas for AirBNBs to promote your rental on social media.

What should I post on my Airbnb Instagram?

Your Instagram content should show off the details of your airbnb, allow potential guests to picture themselves at your property, and create an experience by talking about not just the rental itself, but the surrounding neighborhood and what they can do.

  • Avoid posting content that centers you too much (ie sharing your superhost status screenshot to the feed – although this is something you can include in the bio!)
  • Consider what content would make you want to visit a property or area.
  • And most importantly, treat your Instagram like a portfolio for your rental.

Don’t forget to optimize your bio for guests as well!

Too often I see AirBNB instagrams fail to properly optimize their bio. It’s either cluttered with information potential guests don’t need, or doesn’t have any info at all and only includes the booking link.

  • Make sure your name is a searchable description of your rental, ex Florida Luxury Beachfront Airbnb
  • include key details + attractions
  • Don’t forget your call to action to direct people to your booking link
